For Parents

What does using Super Tutor actually look like on a regular school day?

Before signing up for anything, you probably want to know: what will my child's day actually look like with this? How does it fit around school, homework, and everything else? Here's a realistic walkthrough of how a student might use it.

Morning (7:00 AM – 8:30 AM): Quick Revision Before School

Your child has a Science test today. Instead of frantically flipping through a textbook, they open Super Tutor for 15-20 minutes: the chapter summary and flashcards for the test chapter, then a short practice quiz. Each answer comes with an explanation — not just 'correct' or 'wrong', but why. By the time they leave for school, they've done focused revision without hunting through the textbook.

  • 15-20 minutes of focused revision, not random textbook scanning
  • Chapter summaries and flashcards for a fast refresh
  • Explanations on every quiz answer fix misunderstandings before the test
  • Works on a phone — no laptop needed

After School (3:30 PM – 5:00 PM): Homework & Doubt Clearing

Your child comes home with homework and a doubt from today's Maths class. The teacher moved too fast through trigonometry and they didn't understand how sine, cosine and tangent relate. In the old system, they'd wait until the tutor comes on Thursday. With Super Tutor, they type the doubt (or, on a paid plan, snap a photo of it or say it) and get a step-by-step explanation in seconds. They can ask follow-up questions until it clicks. Homework gets done faster because doubts don't pile up.

  • Doubts answered in seconds, not days
  • Step-by-step explanations with the working shown
  • Follow-up questions until the concept makes sense
  • No scheduling needed — available whenever the doubt comes up

Evening (6:00 PM – 7:30 PM): Structured Self-Study

This is the main study block. Your child opens their study planner, which lays out what to cover this week. Today it's Chapter 8 of Social Science (History). They read the notes (concise and board-aligned — easier to absorb than the textbook), take a chapter quiz, and review their mistakes. No commute to a coaching centre, no waiting for a batch to start.

  • A study plan for the week, in the planner
  • Notes that follow the board syllabus
  • Chapter quizzes with instant marking and a review of mistakes
  • An hour or so of focused self-study, at home

Your Evening (8:00 PM): A Quick Check-In

There's no parent dashboard to log into — and you don't need to sit next to your child while they study. What works well is a simple agreement: once a week, your child sends you their mock results and study plan from the app. The link opens on your phone and shows the score and accuracy on each mock, and what's planned for the week ahead. That gives you something specific to talk about instead of a vague 'Are you studying?'

  • Real results, without hovering or interrogating
  • Mock results show score and accuracy; live mock report cards add rank and subject-wise marks
  • The shared study plan shows what's coming up this week
  • Your child chooses what to share — agree the routine together

Weekend: Catch-Up and Exam Practice

Weekends are for catching up and practising under exam conditions. Your child can go back to the chapters where quiz scores were low, and before exams take full-length mock tests on the board pattern — timed, with the right mix of questions. They get the exam experience at home, before the real thing.

  • Go back over chapters where quiz scores were low
  • Board-pattern mock tests, timed like the real paper
  • Review every mistake with an explanation
  • Mock tests come with the paid plans — school plans are from ₹199/month with UPI AutoPay (₹249/month if you pay once)

FAQs — A Day in the Life with Super Tutor

Common questions answered

How much time should my child spend on Super Tutor daily?

45-90 minutes on school days and 1-2 hours on weekends is a good target. Even 30 minutes of focused daily use helps — short, regular sessions beat occasional long ones.

Does my child need a laptop or computer?

No. Super Tutor works on any Android or iOS smartphone or tablet, and in a web browser. Most students use their phone.

What if my child just opens the app and doesn't actually study?

You won't see their activity directly — there's no parent dashboard. But a mock result can't be faked by opening the app: if your child shares one, it shows the score they actually got. Agree on a weekly mock and a shared result, and you'll know.

Can Super Tutor handle all subjects or do I still need a tutor for some?

Super Tutor covers the main subjects for 25+ school boards, including CBSE, ICSE and State Boards — Maths, Science, English, Social Science, Hindi and more, following each board's syllabus. Some families replace private tuition entirely; others keep one tutor for a particularly difficult subject and use Super Tutor for everything else.

Is there a way to limit screen time on the app?

Super Tutor is a study tool — there are no games or social feeds. If you want hard limits, use the screen-time settings built into Android or iOS.
