Month-Wise WBJEE Plan
Month 1-2: Class 11 & 12 Fundamentals

Is WBJEE harder than JEE Main?
WBJEE is generally easier than JEE Main. The difficulty is moderate — between board level and JEE Main. However, competition is intense since it's the primary route to top West Bengal engineering colleges like Jadavpur University.
What's the syllabus for WBJEE?
WBJEE covers Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from Class 11 and 12. The syllabus closely follows NCERT and WB Board textbooks. Unlike some exams that focus more on Class 12, WBJEE tests Class 11 topics equally.
What rank do I need for Jadavpur University?

Does WBJEE have negative marking?
Category 1 (1 mark) loses ¼ for a wrong answer and Category 2 (2 marks) loses ½. Category 3 (2 marks, one or more correct options) has no negative marking and gives partial credit.
Can I prepare for WBJEE and JEE Main together?
