How to Check Your ISC Result

  1. Go to results.cisce.org (also linked from cisce.org) and select ISC.
  2. Enter your Unique ID, Index Number and the CAPTCHA shown on screen.
  3. View and print your result.
  4. Or use DigiLocker at results.digilocker.gov.in, which also carries CISCE results.

How ISC Results Work

  • Pass mark: 35% in each subject. English is compulsory, and you also need a pass grade in SUPW and Community Service.
  • Result terms: CISCE now shows “Qualified” or “Not Qualified”.
  • Percentage: CISCE shows marks per subject. Colleges and entrance counselling bodies each set their own rule for calculating a percentage (for example, which subjects count), so check the rule wherever you apply.

Recheck, Re-evaluation and Improvement

  • Recheck: the first step if you think a paper was totalled or marked wrongly. 2026 ISC recheck results came out on 26 May.
  • Re-evaluation: only for papers you had rechecked and are still unhappy with, in the window CISCE opens after the recheck results.
  • Improvement Examination: held in the same year. Under CISCE's rules for 2027 you can take up to two subjects, and the higher of your two marks counts.

What to Do Next

  • Save your result as a PDF and from DigiLocker; colleges and counselling portals will ask for it.
  • Check each admission route's Class 12 requirement: for example, IIT admission through JEE Advanced needs 75% in Class 12 (65% for SC/ST/PwD) or a place in the top 20 percentile of your board.
  • Plan your entrance exams: JEE Main, NEET UG and CUET UG all run on their own 2027 calendars; see our guide to what to do after the 12th result.
