What happened in NEET-UG 2026

NEET-UG 2026 was first held on 3 May 2026. NTA cancelled that exam on 12 May and referred the matter to the CBI; the re-exam was held on 21 June 2026 and results came out on 16 July 2026. About 20 lakh candidates appeared (22.8 lakh registered). MCC counselling runs from August to October 2026.

    Print the full syllabus and rate yourself 1–5 on every chapter before you start.

    Front-load Class 11 chapters in months 1–3 and Class 12 in months 4–6. Reserve the last month for revision.

    Finish NCERT cover-to-cover before jumping to advanced books or coaching modules.
