How is CUET score calculated?
CUET score = (correct answers × 5) − (wrong answers × 1). Unanswered questions score zero. Since 2025 every test — languages, domain subjects and the General Aptitude Test — has 50 compulsory questions in 60 minutes, so each test is out of 250.
Is there negative marking in CUET?
Yes. Each wrong answer costs 1 mark and each correct answer earns 5. Leaving a question blank costs nothing, so guess only when you can rule out at least one option.
How many subjects can I take in CUET?
You can take up to 5 tests in total, counting languages and the General Aptitude Test. Choose the combination the programmes you want ask for — each university lists the tests it accepts for each course.
What CUET score do I need for Delhi University?
There is no single cut-off. DU admits through CSAS using normalised CUET scores in the subject combination each programme requires, and cut-offs vary by college, course, category and round. Check DU's CSAS round-wise allocation data for last year's figures.
What is the difference between CUET raw score and normalised score?
Your raw score is what this calculator shows. When a subject runs in more than one shift, NTA normalises scores across shifts using the percentile method, and universities use the normalised score. See the CUET normalised score calculator for how the shift percentile works.
