How is KCET rank calculated?
Your KCET engineering rank combines your KCET marks (out of 180) and your PUC / Class 12 marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, with equal (50:50) weight. Two students with the same KCET marks can get very different ranks depending on their board marks, so this tool gives a band that assumes about 90% in PUC PCM.
Which courses does KCET cover?
Engineering, plus B.Pharm, Pharm-D, B.Sc Nursing, veterinary (BVSc), BNYS and farm science courses, each with its own rank list. MBBS and BDS seats in Karnataka go through NEET, not KCET. This predictor covers the engineering rank.
When were KCET 2026 results announced?
KCET 2026 was held on 23–24 April 2026 and results came out on 6 June 2026. About 2,82,600 candidates were eligible for an engineering rank. KCET 2027 dates are not announced yet — expect April 2027, and check the KEA website.
What rank do I need for RVCE or BMS College of Engineering?
In KCET 2025 counselling (General Merit), RVCE's Computer Science closed between about 234 and 499 across rounds, and BMSCE's Computer Science at about 2,246 in round 1 and about 3,870 in the final round. Cut-offs change every year; check KEA's published cut-off ranks for each round.
How accurate is this KCET rank predictor?
It's a rough band. KEA doesn't publish marks-vs-rank figures, so the table comes from a third-party analysis of past results, and your real rank also depends on your PUC marks, the year's difficulty and the number of candidates.
