ISC (ICSE) Class 12 Maths Formulas: Chapter-Wise

ISC Class 12 Maths formulas chapter by chapter: links to each chapter's formula sheet and a simple plan to learn them before the board exam.

Every Maths formula for ISC (ICSE) Class 12 is on our chapter formula sheets, linked below. Use this page to plan how you learn them before the 2027 board exams.

Chapter-Wise Formula Sheets

Each link opens that chapter's formula sheet on Super Tutor.

Our Class 12 Maths formula sheet covers the NCERT syllabus. Many formulas are the same, but your board's syllabus is different, so check each one against your textbook.

Put your formula time where the marks are: in the ISC Maths theory paper, Calculus carries 35 of the 80 marks. See the full split on our ISC Maths weightage page.

How to Use a Formula Sheet

  1. Keep it where you study — a printed or handwritten copy on your desk gets looked at every day.
  2. Test yourself — cover the formulas and write them from memory, then check.
  3. Group related formulas — formulas that build on each other are easier to remember together.
  4. Use each formula in problems — solve at least 2–3 questions with it so you know when to apply it.

Quick Revision Tips

  • Short daily reviews — 15 minutes a day beats one long session before the exam.
  • Formula cards — write one formula per card, shuffle and test yourself.
  • Teach someone — explaining a formula out loud shows you whether you really know it.
  • Night before the exam — go through your formula sheet once; don't start new problems.

Check the current syllabus on cisce.org before you rely on any formula list: CISCE can add or drop topics from year to year.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are formulas given in the ISC Class 12 Maths exam?

Don't count on it. Board papers generally don't come with a formula sheet, so learn the formulas and practise using them.

Three methods work well: (1) write each formula from memory and check it, (2) group related formulas together, such as all identities of one chapter, and (3) use each formula in problems every day. Using a formula beats rereading it.

In the ISC Maths theory paper (80 marks), Calculus carries the most (35 marks), followed by Relations and Functions and Algebra (10 marks each). The full unit-wise split is on our ISC Maths weightage page, taken from CISCE's syllabus for the 2027 exam. Questions can come from every unit, so don't skip any.
