Complex numbers extend real numbers to include √(-1)
i² = -1, i³ = -i, i⁴ = 1 (pattern repeats every 4 powers)
Complex numbers have the form z = a + bi, where a is the real part, b is the imaginary part, and i² = -1.

Average (Mean) = Sum of all observations ÷ Total number of observations.
