तोसिया एक बच्ची है जो बहुत सपने देखती है। एक दिन उसे सपना आता है कि दुनिया के सारे रंग उड़ गए हैं और सब कुछ सफ़ेद-सफ़ेद हो गया है। वह घबरा जाती है, लेकिन जागने के बाद वह देखती है कि घर, रसोई, बगीचा और बाजार में रंग ही रंग हैं। कहानी यह दिखाती है कि सपना और सच्चाई अलग होते हैं।

सपने में रंग नहीं दिखते, लेकिन असली दुनिया में रंग मौजूद हैं। जागने के बाद तोसिया को घर, बगीचे और बाजार में रंग दिखाई देते हैं।
रसोई में रंग
रसोई में रंग-बिरंगे मसाले थे। तोसिया के कपड़ों में रंग थे। मम्मी-पापा के कपड़ों में भी रंग थे।
बाजार में रंग
बाजार में रंग-बिरंगी सब्जियाँ, पतंगें, चुन्नियाँ और गुब्बारे थे। तोसिया ने बहुत सारे रंग देखे और खुश हो गई।
तोसिया रात को नानी के साथ
तोसिया रात को नानी के साथ सोई थी। नानी ने बताया कि पहले उनके बाल काले थे, फिर उनका रंग तोसिया के बालों में चला आया।
