  • 324 ÷ 3 is solved by breaking 324 into 3 Hundreds, 2 Tens, and 4 Ones.
  • 2 Tens cannot be divided by 3 directly, so they must be regrouped into Ones.

4. Division with Remainders in Real Life

  • Sometimes a number does not divide exactly.
  • The leftover part is called the remainder.
  • Packing coconuts into bags is an example where the answer must be rounded up to the next whole bag.
