- Held on one day as three papers: Physics + Chemistry together (2 hours), then Biology (1 hour) for Group B and Mathematics (1 hour) for Group A. Each subject has 40 MCQs, in Gujarati, Hindi or English.
- 1 mark for a correct answer; 0.25 is deducted for a wrong one.
- GUJCET is used for engineering and pharmacy admissions; MBBS/BDS go through NEET.
- GUJCET has its own online application on gseb.org, separate from board-exam registration.

Map the syllabus
Print the full syllabus and rate yourself 1–5 on every chapter before you start.

Build a 6-month plan
Front-load Class 11 chapters in months 1–3 and Class 12 in months 4–6. Reserve the last month for revision.

Finish NCERT cover-to-cover before jumping to advanced books or coaching modules.
