- The separate GUJCET form: GUJCET is not part of your Class 12 board registration. Fill the GUJCET form on gseb.org in the December window, pay the fee and submit the complete form — details and the exam centre can't be changed after you submit.
- Group selection: Choose Group A, B or AB on the form based on the courses you want — AB keeps both the Mathematics and Biology papers open to you.
- ACPC registration: A good merit is wasted if you miss ACPC registration (it closed on 31 May in 2026) or the choice-filling deadlines after results.

Is there negative marking in GUJCET 2027?
Yes. GUJCET gives 1 mark for a correct answer and deducts 0.25 for a wrong one; an unanswered question scores zero. So attempt selectively where you are unsure — unlike state CETs with no negative marking, such as MHT-CET. Confirm the scheme in the GUJCET 2027 information booklet.
What is the GUJCET 2027 exam pattern?
In 2026 GUJCET was held on one day as three papers: Physics + Chemistry together (2 hours), then Biology (1 hour) for Group B and Mathematics (1 hour) for Group A; Group AB candidates sit both. Each subject has 40 multiple-choice questions, so Group A or Group B candidates answer 120 questions. Who is eligible for GUJCET 2027?
GUJCET is for Class 12 Science students — those appearing in Class 12 in 2027 or who passed earlier — from GSEB or another board. On the form you choose Group A (Physics, Chemistry, Maths), Group B (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) or Group AB (all four). Minimum Class 12 marks, domicile and which group each course accepts are set in ACPC's admission rules, so check them before you choose.
How does admission work after GUJCET 2027?
Engineering and pharmacy admissions in Gujarat are handled by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC). Your merit combines GUJCET and Class 12 marks in the ratio set in that year's ACPC rules. You register with ACPC, check the merit list, fill choices, and seats are allotted over rounds. In 2026, ACPC degree engineering registration closed on 31 May, the provisional merit list came out on 12 June and the first allotment on 25 June. GUJCET is for engineering and pharmacy; MBBS and BDS admissions go through NEET.
When will GUJCET 2027 registration open?
