Key Topics to Revise

1

Story Summary and Key Events

  • Sera is a small black ant who dreams of flying.
  • Other ants, like Big Ant, tell her to work and not dream.
  • Every night, Sera climbs to the top of the ant-hill and looks at the sky.
2

Grammar: Simple Past Tense

  • The story uses past tense because it tells about something that already happened.
  • We add -ed to most verbs to show the past (e.g., climb → climbed).
  • If the verb ends in 'e', we only add -d (e.g., point → pointed).
3

Values and Life Lessons

  • It is okay to dream, even if others say you can't.
  • Helping others makes them happy.
  • Being different is not bad — Sera was different and clever.
