Types of Plants
- Plants come in different sizes and shapes.
- Trees are big, tall, and strong. Example: Mango, Banyan, Coconut.
- Small plants are shorter and weaker. Example: Mint, Spinach, Tomato.
Medicinal Plants
- Some plants help us stay healthy and cure diseases.
- Tulsi helps in cough and cold.
- Ginger helps digestion and also cures cough.
Plants Grow in Different Places
- Cactus grows in dry places with little water.
- Lotus and water lily grow in water.
- Pine and fir trees grow on hills.
Parts of a Plant
- A plant has five main parts: roots, stem, leaves, flowers, and fruits.
- Roots fix the plant in soil and absorb water.
- Stem carries water and food to all parts.
