Flow of control has three types: sequential, selective, and iterative statements.

It consists of a boolean expression followed by one or more statements

An if statement contains a boolean expression and an indented block of statements.

if and colon

An if statement uses the keyword if and ends the header with a colon.

There is no limit on the number of statements under an if block

Any number of statements can be placed under an if block.
