The Lost Laugh

Step 4: After hearing the reason, Monkey picked up a feather and tickled Hyena. Step 5: This made Hyena laugh again. So Monkey was the one who truly helped.

A feather

Step 1: After understanding why Hyena lost his laugh, Monkey decided to help. Step 2: The story says 'he jumped down from the tree and picked up a feather.' Step 3: Then Monkey 'began to tickle Hyena all over' with the feather. Step 4: Tickling with a feather made Hyena start to smile and then laugh out loud. Step 5: A stick or leaf would not be used to tickle – only a soft feather works for tickling.
