Electromagnetic Waves

Electric and magnetic fields are perpendicular, They can travel through vacuum, All have the same speed in vacuum

Electromagnetic waves are transverse waves where E and B fields are perpendicular to each other and to the direction of propagation. They can travel through vacuum and all have speed c in vacuum.

Radio waves

In the electromagnetic spectrum, radio waves have the longest wavelengths (from meters to kilometers), followed by microwaves, infrared, visible light, etc.

Radioactive nuclei

Gamma rays are high-energy electromagnetic waves produced during radioactive decay of atomic nuclei and in nuclear reactions.

Ultraviolet rays, X-rays, Gamma rays

High-energy electromagnetic waves like UV rays, X-rays, and gamma rays can damage living tissues. Visible light and radio waves are generally safe at normal intensities.
