How the Scores Worked
- Per test: 50 compulsory MCQs in 60 minutes, +5 for a correct answer and −1 for a wrong one, so each test was out of 250.
- Normalisation: The exam ran in multiple shifts, so NTA converted raw marks into NTA scores to make different shifts comparable.
- Top scores: The highest NTA score reached 250 in several subjects, including Accountancy, History and Psychology. The top General Aptitude Test score was 212.65 and the top English score was 244.04.
- No merit list from NTA: NTA only publishes scores. Each university prepares its own merit list from them.

What Happened After the Results
- Delhi University (CSAS): Registration opened on 26 June 2026. The first allocation list came on 16 July and the second on 25 July, followed by a third round in early August and a spot round in late August.
- BHU: UG registration ran from 9 to 25 July 2026 on its CUET admission portal, with seats allotted through BHU's own counselling (CAP).
- JNU and other universities: Each ran its own application on its own portal, using the CUET scores.
- No re-evaluation: CUET scores are not rechecked — the answer-key challenge before the result was the only way to dispute an answer.
