कबीर की भाषा पूर्वी जनपद की भाषा है। उसमें अवधी, राजस्थानी, भोजपुरी और पंजाबी शब्दों का प्रभाव है। इसी कारण इसे सधुक्कड़ी और पचमेल खिचड़ी कहा जाता है।
