1. Point
- A point is the most basic idea in geometry. It marks an exact location.
- A point has NO length, NO width, and NO thickness — it has no size at all.
- It is represented by a tiny dot made with a sharp pencil tip.

- It has two END POINTS — a definite start and a definite end.
- It has a fixed, measurable length.
3
3. Line
- A line is obtained when a line segment is extended infinitely in BOTH directions.
- A line has NO end points — it goes on forever in both directions.
- A line has no fixed length — it is infinite.

4. Intersecting Lines and Parallel Lines
- INTERSECTING LINES: When two lines meet at exactly one common point, they are called intersecting lines. The common point is called the point of intersection.
- Two lines can intersect at most at ONE point — they cannot cross each other at more than one point.
