The Parliament of India consists of the President, Rajya Sabha (Upper House), and Lok Sabha (Lower House). The Prime Minister is the head of government but not a component of Parliament structure, and the Supreme Court is part of the judiciary.

Print media (newspapers, journals), Electronic media (TV, radio), and Internet are major mediums for forming public opinion in a democracy. They help transmit information and create awareness among citizens about government policies and national issues.

Indian National Congress (INC), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP)

INC, BJP, and BSP are national parties as they secure more than 4% of total votes in at least four major states. Shiv Sena and AAP are regional parties as they have limited geographical presence and influence.

Election Commission

The Election Commission of India is the independent constitutional body responsible for administrating, controlling, and monitoring the entire election process in India. It ensures free and fair elections at all levels.
