Trees are big and tall plants with strong, hard stems called trunks. They live for many years. Examples: mango, banyan, coconut, pine, and ashoka tree
Shrubs are shorter than trees
Shrubs are shorter than trees and have many woody stems that grow from the base. They are bushy. Examples: rose, tulsi, hibiscus, and henna.
Herbs are small plants with soft
Herbs are small plants with soft, green stems. They do not live very long. Examples: coriander, mint, marigold, and grass.
Climbers have weak stems and need
Climbers have weak stems and need support to grow upright. They climb on sticks, walls, or fences. Examples: money plant, grapevine, and peas.
Creepers have very weak stems
Creepers have very weak stems and cannot stand upright. They spread or crawl along the ground. Examples: pumpkin, watermelon, and strawberry plants.
