What Are Wild Animals?

  • Wild animals live in forests, jungles, and natural habitats.
  • They are not tamed and cannot be kept as pets.

  • Different animals live in different places: on land, in trees, or in water.

  • Carnivores eat the flesh of other animals. Example: Tiger, lion, leopard.
  • Scavengers eat dead animals. Example: Vulture, jackal, fox.

  • Cutting trees destroys animal homes and harms forests.
  • Animals like tigers, elephants, and rhinos are hunted for skin, tusks, and horns.
  • Some animals like dinosaurs and dodos are extinct (no longer exist).
