Meristematic tissue has small cells with thin walls, no large vacuoles (vacuoles are almost absent), actively divide, and are found at all growing points of the plant.

Tracheids, Vessels, Xylem parenchyma

Xylem consists of tracheids, vessels (both are tracheary elements), and xylem parenchyma. Sieve tubes and companion cells are components of phloem.

Cells that fit tightly together with no spaces

Epithelial tissue cells fit tightly together leaving no space between cells. This helps in providing protection and forming continuous sheets.

Columnar epithelium

Columnar epithelium with its tall, cylindrical cells is found in the inner lining of the stomach and intestines. It often contains glandular cells for secretion.
