To mark 1/n of a circle, the central angle = 360°/n
Angle at circumference = (1/2) × Central angle of the same arc
This relationship holds for all arcs with central angle ≤ 180°
Central angle of semicircle = 180°, so circumference angle = 180°/2 = 90°
Key property: opposite angles are supplementary (∠A + ∠C = 180°, ∠B + ∠D = 180°).

Use the distributive property: (x + a)(x + b) = x² + (a + b)x + ab
Use the identity (a - b)² = (a + b)² - 4ab to find unknown factors
If (x - a)(x - b) = 0, then x = a or x = b (zero product property)
Universal method for solving any quadratic equation ax² + bx + c = 0
If (x - p)(x - q) = 0, then either x - p = 0 or x - q = 0, giving x = p or x = q.

Sum of first n odd numbers = n²
Sum of first n even numbers = n(n+1)
The sum of first n natural numbers is given by: 1 + 2 + 3 + ... + n = n(n+1)/2.
For sequence xₙ = an + b, sum of first n terms = ½an(n+1) + nb.
Alternative method: Sum = ½ × number of terms × (first term + last term).
