NEET Result 2026 — Date, Cutoff, Toppers and Key Numbers

The NEET UG 2026 result came out on 16 July 2026 after the 21 June re-exam. Cutoffs, toppers, score counts, how to get your scorecard and what comes next.

NTA declared the NEET (UG) 2026 result on 16 July 2026. It was the result of the 21 June re-exam — the original 3 May paper was cancelled by NTA on 12 May. Close to 20 lakh candidates appeared and 11.21 lakh qualified. The highest score was 715 out of 720, shared by Aryan Gupta (Punjab) and Panshul Bansal (Haryana).

  1. Visit neet.nta.nic.in.
  2. Open the NEET (UG) 2026 scorecard link and log in with your application number and password or date of birth.
  3. Check your marks, All India Rank and category details.
  4. Download and save the PDF — you will need it for counselling and admission.

What to Do After the Result

When was the NEET 2026 result declared?

NTA declared the NEET (UG) 2026 result on 16 July 2026, on neet.nta.nic.in. The result was for the re-exam held on 21 June 2026. The final answer key was published the same day.

NEET (UG) 2026 was first held on 3 May 2026. On 12 May 2026, NTA, with the approval of the Government of India, cancelled that examination based on inputs examined with central agencies and findings shared by law enforcement agencies, and the Government referred the matter to the CBI. The exam was re-conducted on 21 June 2026. Registration and exam-city choices carried over, no fresh fee was charged, and NTA said fees already paid would be refunded.

No. NEET has no provision for re-checking or re-evaluation of answer sheets. Before the result, candidates could challenge the grading of their OMR sheet and the provisional answer key, at ₹200 per question challenged. In 2026 the provisional key came out on 25 June, with challenges open from 25 to 28 June.

General/EWS: 715–213 marks (50th percentile). OBC/SC/ST: 212–177 (40th percentile). General/EWS-PwBD: 212–194 (45th percentile). Reserved-category PwBD: 177 and above. All of these were much higher than in 2025, when the General cutoff was 144.

The 2026 MCC rounds run until the online stray vacancy round on 12–17 October 2026.
