ग़ज़ल विधा की विशेषताएँ

  • मयस्सर का अर्थ उपलब्ध है।
  • दरख्त का अर्थ पेड़ है।
  • मुतमइन का अर्थ इत्मीनान से, आश्वस्त है।

शेरों का भावार्थ और विश्लेषण

  • पहला शेर: चिराग़ की इच्छा घर-घर है, पर शहर में चिराग़ उपलब्ध नहीं। इसमें वादा और वास्तविकता का अंतर है।
  • दूसरा शेर: पेड़ों की छाया में भी धूप लगती है। यह विरोधाभासी बिंब असंतोष और असुविधा को व्यक्त करता है।
  • तीसरा शेर: इतने अभावग्रस्त लोग हैं कि कमीज़ न हो तो पाँवों से पेट ढँक लेंगे। इसमें गरीबी और जीवन-संघर्ष का तीखा चित्र है।
