A: प्रेमचंद ने असहयोग आंदोलन में सक्रिय भाग लेने के लिए सरकारी नौकरी से त्यागपत्र दे दिया। इससे उनके जीवन में लेखन और सामाजिक चेतना का महत्व और बढ़ गया।
Q: प्रेमचंद की रचनाओं के मुख्य विषय कौन-कौन से हैं?
A: प्रेमचंद की रचनाओं के मूल विषय किसान, मजदूर, दलित, स्त्री और स्वाधीनता आंदोलन हैं। उनकी कहानियों में समाज के साधारण लोगों का जीवन सजीव रूप में मिलता है।
Q: रैदास कौन थे?
A: रैदास संत कवि थे। उनका जन्म काशी (वाराणसी) में हुआ था। वे बाह्य आडंबरों का खंडन करके मन की शुद्धता और आंतरिक भक्ति को सच्चा धर्म मानते थे।
Q: रैदास की रचनाओं की मुख्य विशेषता क्या थी?
A: रैदास की रचनाएँ सरल, व्यावहारिक ब्रजभाषा में हैं। इसमें अवधी, राजस्थानी, खड़ी बोली और उर्दू-फारसी के शब्द भी मिलते हैं। इसी कारण उनकी वाणी सहज होते हुए भी प्रभावशाली लगती है।

A: रैदास का सबसे बड़ा संदेश यह है कि सच्ची भक्ति बाहरी दिखावे से नहीं, बल्कि मन की शुद्धता और प्रभु के प्रति पूर्ण समर्पण से होती है।
Q: ‘क्या लिखूँ?’ निबंध का प्रारंभिक विचार क्या है?
A: निबंध की शुरुआत इस भाव से होती है कि लिखने के लिए एक विशेष मानसिक स्थिति चाहिए। लेखक के मन में ऐसा आवेग होता है कि उसे लिखना ही पड़ता है, पर उसके लिए विषय से अधिक मन का भाव महत्वपूर्ण है।
