What to Focus On
- Human behaviour is of two types: Natural (innate) and Learned.
- Natural behaviour requires no formal education — it is present from birth.
- Learned behaviour is acquired through experience, observation, and practice.
- C.T. Morgan's definition: Learning is a relatively permanent change in behaviour due to experience or practice.
- Three key features: Experience/Practice, Change in Behaviour, and Relatively Permanent Change.
- Behavioural changes due to maturation, fatigue, drugs, or injury do NOT count as learning.
- There are five major types of learning studied in psychology.
- Each type has been demonstrated through specific scientific experiments.
- Experiments have been conducted on both humans and animals.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
