  • Number of relations from A to B is 2^(pq).
  • Domain comes from first components.
  • Range comes from second components.
  • Co-domain is the target set B.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

Any set of ordered pairs on a set is automatically a relation on that set.

Range and co-domain mean the same thing.

To find the inverse relation, only the symbol changes; the ordered pairs stay in the same order.
