To find the subject, ask 'Who?' or 'What?' before the verb. The answer is the subject and is in the nominative case. Example: 'The dog barks.' Ask: 'Who barks?' → 'The dog' is the subject.

To find the object, ask 'What?' or 'Whom?' after the verb. Example: 'He kicked the ball.' Ask: 'Kicked what?' → 'the ball' is the object and in the objective case.

The Possessive Case shows ownership or belonging. It is formed by adding an apostrophe (') and sometimes 's' to a noun. Example: 'Anu’s bag' means the bag belongs to Anu.

For singular nouns, add 's to show possession. Example: 'the king’s crown', 'the girl’s book'. Even if the noun ends in 's', you can still add 's: 'Mr Das’s car'.
