Only dominant trait

In a monohybrid cross, the F1 generation expresses only the dominant trait because the dominant allele masks the recessive one.

In a monohybrid cross, the F2 phenotypic ratio is 3 (dominant) : 1 (recessive).

1:2:1

The genotypic ratio in F2 is 1 (homozygous dominant) : 2 (heterozygous) : 1 (homozygous recessive).

TT

A pure tall plant is homozygous dominant, so its genotype is TT.
