  • Sine corresponds to the y-coordinate, cosine to the x-coordinate.

  • Cotangent has asymptotes at nπ.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

Radians and degrees are interchangeable without conversion.

The value of sinθ or cosθ can be greater than 1 or less than -1.

The period of tanθ is 2π, just like sinθ and cosθ.
