Central Minority Scholarship Schemes

  • Pre-Matric Scholarship (Class 1–10) — Rs 1,000–10,000/year, income below Rs 1 lakh
  • Post-Matric Scholarship (Class 11–PG) — maintenance + fees, income below Rs 2 lakh
  • Merit-cum-Means Scholarship — for professional/technical courses, up to Rs 20,000/year
  • Begum Hazrat Mahal Scholarship — for minority girls in Class 9–12, Rs 5,000–10,000
  • Maulana Azad National Fellowship — for MPhil/PhD, Rs 31,000–35,000/month
  • Padho Pardesh — interest subsidy on education loans for studies abroad

  1. Visit scholarships.gov.in — all minority schemes available on NSP
  2. Register and login
  3. Select minority scholarship scheme
  4. Upload: minority community certificate, income certificate, marksheet, Aadhaar, bank details
  5. Submit and get institution verification
