  • Chausa bronzes show mastery of the masculine physique and simplified muscles.
  • Adinath or Vrishabhnath is identified by long hairlocks dropping to his shoulders.

  • Standing Buddha images with abhaya mudra were cast in North India during the Gupta and Post-Gupta periods, between the fifth and seventh centuries.
  • The drapery of standing Buddha images falls and spreads into a wide curve at ankle level.
  • The Gupta Buddha appears youthful and more proportionate than the Kushana style.
