1. Tangents to a Circle from an External Point
- Two tangents can be drawn from an external point to a circle.
- If a point lies on the circle, only one tangent can be drawn.
- If a point lies inside the circle, no tangent can be drawn.

- Step 1: Join the centre O of the circle to the external point and draw segment OP.
- Step 2: Draw the right bisector of OP, intersecting OP at M.
- Step 3: Taking M as centre and OM = PM as radius, draw a circle to intersect the given circle at A and B.
