There are seven letters used in Roman numerals: I, V, X, L, C, D, and M. Each letter stands for a number. For Class 4, we focus on I (1), V (5), X (10

If a symbol is repeated, we add its value. For example, II means 1 + 1 = 2. But no symbol can be repeated more than three times in a row.
