Sources of Light

  • Light is a form of energy that helps us see objects.
  • Things that give out light are called sources of light.
  • Sources of light can be natural or artificial.

Luminous and Non-Luminous Objects

  • Luminous objects give out their own light (e.g., Sun, candle).
  • Non-luminous objects do not give out light (e.g., table, book, Moon).
  • We see non-luminous objects when light reflects off them into our eyes.
