  • Mean, median, and mode are measures of central tendency.
  • Mean is the average of the data.
  • Median is the middle value after arranging data in ascending order.

  • Grouped data uses class intervals and frequencies.
  • The mean from grouped data is only approximate because class marks are used instead of exact scores.
