The cerebellum is responsible for balance, equilibrium, muscle coordination, posture maintenance, and motor learning. Memory formation occurs in the cerebrum, and vision processing occurs in the occipital lobe.

Trigeminal nerve

The trigeminal nerve (cranial nerve V) is called the 'dentist's nerve' because it provides sensation to the teeth, gums, and jaw area. Dentists often need to anesthetize this nerve during dental procedures.

Cone cells

Cone cells in the retina contain photopigments that respond to different wavelengths of light (red, green, blue), enabling color vision. Rod cells are responsible for vision in dim light but not color perception.

Malleus, Incus, Stapes, Eustachian tube

The middle ear contains three ossicles (malleus, incus, stapes) and the eustachian tube. The cochlea and semicircular canals are parts of the inner ear.
