- Energy RDA: 108 Kcal/kg body weight for birth–6 months.
- Energy RDA: 98 Kcal/kg body weight for 6–12 months.
- Exclusive breastfeeding is recommended for six months.
- Even water is not required during breastfeeding.
- Colostrum is produced in the first 2–3 days after birth.
