General conic definition: PF / PL = e

3) General Second-Degree Equation

ax^2 + 2hxy + by^2 + 2gx + 2fy + c = 0

Δ = abc + 2fgh - af^2 - bg^2 - ch^2

4) Parabola

y^2 = 4ax

y^2 = -4ax

x^2 = 4ay

x^2 = -4ay

Length of latus rectum = 4a
