Overview
When solving math problems that have more than one operation—like addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division—we need to follow a special order. If we don’t, we might get the wrong answer! The BODMAS rule helps us know which operation to do first so that everyone gets the same correct answer

Brackets (like ( ), { }, [ ]) tell us to do the operations inside them first. For example, in 5 × (3 + 2), we add 3 + 2 = 5 first, then multiply 5 × 5

In math, 'of' means multiplication. For example, 1/2 of 10 means 1/2 × 10 = 5. This is done just after simplifying brackets.
