Formulas and Key Relations

Perimeter and Circumference Formulas

P = 2(l + b)

l = P/2 - b

b = P/2 - l

P = 4s

Perimeter = a + b + c

Area Formulas

Area = l × b

Area = s² = 1/2 × (diagonal)²

Area = 1/2 × base × height

Area = √(s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c))

Area = 1/4 × b × √(4a² - b²)

1 m² = 10000 cm².

1 km² = 10⁶ m².

Key relations
