  • Rectangle Perimeter: P = 2(l + b).
  • Length from perimeter: l = P/2 - b.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

Perimeter and area mean the same thing.

Area is measured in cm or m, not in square units.

To convert area units, the same factor used for length can be used directly.
