  • To convert an exclamatory sentence into an assertive one, words like indeed, truly, very, great, so, and such are added.
  • To convert an exclamatory sentence into an assertive one, the exclamation mark is removed.
  • What lovely weather it is! becomes It is very sad that the poor puppy met with an accident. when the strong emotion is expressed in assertive form.
