1. Core idea of prepositions

  • A preposition shows the relationship between nouns or pronouns and other words in a sentence.
  • A preposition can connect a noun or pronoun to a verb, adjective, or another noun.
  • The noun or pronoun used with the preposition is called the object of the preposition.

  • On is used with specific days and dates.
