Common multiples = numbers that are multiples of both given numbers

Common factors = factors of both given numbers

Perfect number condition: sum of all factors of a number = twice the number

Prime Numbers and Composite Numbers

Prime number = has exactly two factors

Composite number = has more than two factors

Sieve of Eratosthenes

Circle 2, cross out multiples of 2; circle next uncrossed number, then cross out its multiples

Co-prime Numbers

Two numbers are co-prime if they have no common factor other than 1

If there are no common prime factors, then two numbers are co-prime
