  • A compass can be used to construct circles and their parts.
  • A point 4 cm from P, when the compass is opened to a fixed distance and rotated about P, traces a circle.
  • All the points of a circle are at the same distance from its centre.

  • A rectangle has opposite sides equal and all angles 90°.
  • A square has all sides equal and all angles 90°.
