Lines: Straight and Curved

  • A straight line goes in one direction and is the shortest path between two points.
  • A curved line bends and is not straight.
  • We use rulers to draw straight lines and round objects like bangles to draw curved lines.

  • They have corners (vertices), sides, and sometimes diagonals.

  • All 7 pieces must be used without overlapping to form a shape.
  • Tessellation is a pattern made by repeating shapes without gaps or overlaps.
